Vorkommen: Salt (sodium chloride, NaCl) is its most common compound. Commercial quantities are produced by electrolysis of aqueous sodium chloride (seawater or brine from salt mines).
Verwendung: Used in water purification, bleaches, acids and many, many other compounds such as chlorofluorocarbons (ClFC).
